specific recommendations, but in two different cars I've used one
of those aftermarket thermostat kits. The instructions usually
(or used to) say to put snake the temp. bulb into the water
flow under a radiator hose. Instead I just silicone-rubber'ed
it along the top seam of the radiator tank. Works great.
