[Amc-list] electric fan for '63 american

hello out there, I am looking to put an electric fan into my '63 american.  
Are there any difficulties in  using a GM temperature switch. Can it also 
work with my temp guage?  I've replaced my generator with an alternator 
already, and have nothing else drawing current from it. I know that I am 
always writing in looking for ways to get more power. But the truth is, 
nothing seems to work as good as the well tuned stock setup. Oh yeah, I 
currently have a seven blade fan in it, so this seems to be an easy way to 
gain a few horses. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  THANK YOU, once
