A: I drive my J4000 on 4 wheel drums, even heavily loaded, but I'll sure be happy to switch in the J20 axle I have for it with discs. (maybe a Hydroboost up[grade while I'm at it if I can find a longer M715 frame to jump up to) I may have to swap the trans and tcase before then, so I'll be putting in a lockup 727 with Dodge NP208D (to match my RH drop front axle) From: Tom Jennings <tomj@xxxxxxx> Subject: Re: [Amc-list] American Brakes, was Rear Wheel Lockup... But I'm getting Joe's little American, which comes with little toy 9" American brakes. I have a set of 64 Ambassador drum brakes I hope will fit the wheels. They should be big enough to not fade so much. Maybe I'll drill 'em! Always wanted to see how well that works. _________________________________________________________________ Refi Now: Rates near 39yr lows! $430,000 Mortgage for $1,399/mo - Calculate new payment http://www.lowermybills.com/lre/index.jsp?sourceid=lmb-9632-17727&moid=7581 _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
