Also if the trailer does it too.
maybe there is an open circuit ahead
of where the trailer harness is spliced to the truck harness.
or even right where it is spliced.
I would have some one hold the brake.
and just probe the wire back from the taillight till you get juice
and that should be where the circuit is open.
