My cousin had a Early 60's valiant built with a 440 and the Frame rails and torsion bars still in place. No inner fenders or bracking that I can recall at all. I remember casue we all thought it was nuts! But it was bought built that way and it would twist and lift the left front higher than the right, but it never broke or failed. I don't know that I would have left it that way, but he did!
