[AMC-List] Charity AMX Project

Being a newbie to the net at the time this project was in it's original
proposal and it's infancy it seemed to me like an un-doable thing. I
speak as an old gray beard as some  call us old timers. I have dealt
with car club's as a member and as officer, and as an observer. This was
a monumental undertaking. To see it get this far is amazing. As a father
of 3 and a grandfather of one I can understand the problems of a sick
child. All of my children had some health issues but none serious. I
can't remember the issues Tom had with his daughter I believe, but I as
a father feel for him. A simpler thing would have been to ask for a tax
free donation to the clarity he supported in the name of this group and
make it known to all the magazines we all buy. I have  many long time
subscriptions to most major magazines that it would be good press for
them to publish a small or large story in the readers rides sections or
some other column. Just my 2 cent's.
