[AMC-List] Gen 1 to Gen 2 change over

 I thought the whole point of the 66 Rogue was to
introduce the 290 engine. I don't know if it was
available in anything else that early.  I have a 66
American convertible with a 343/auto, but the body
code is for a 232.  The work is so clean and complete
that it makes me wonder if it wasn't a dealer
conversion.  Supposedly the car was from the Portland
OR area, then was put into the warehouse I got it from
in 1978.
