Won't work. The extension of the Classic is all between the firewall and wheel centerline -- the wheelbase is longer. There is very little (if any) extension in front of the wheels. 

Wait a minute... okay, now I see where you're going with this -- I think. You mean take the front clip off a Classic and stick it on an Ambo, but leave the Ambo wheelbase alone. Alter the wheel cut-out on the Classic fenders to look factory though. 

All I can say is that's one of the weirdest ideas I've heard in a long time!
