Give him my e-mail address. The "frame" structure on the pre 64 cars (except the 63 Classic/Ambo) is super strong in comparison to the later ones. Except to put wider rubber in there's no point in messing with the rails at all. It's nearly as tough as an S-10 frame already. Same with the front suspension. Those humps need to be removed, and then either over the frame rail or hugger headers used with a V-8. I printed a story on a Chevy powered 62 American with stock suspension and front rails, but it was back halfed for wide tires and a narrowed Ford 9" -- all welded into the original chassis. I ran the story because it would be easy to replicate the car with a 360.
