I am sorry John but I don't care what rag the dude has on his head or how he yells to get the ricer kids attention, they have their own shows. The frame straightening was a hack job, plain and simple. I was the first one to bring this up. And Jock I would rather not see AMC's on a show just to promote the name and them hacking one. I see problems not quite or almost as bad on other car shows but since it was brought up here I mentioned what I saw. Since it was a "MAJOR" one. I also saw Chip Foose and Coddigton do all sorts of short cut jobs on car's that in all good conscience I could never do. TV got to love it. Thank god I learned the right way to do things and won't compromise. I used to throw people out of my shop because I wouldn't do shoddy work and always had a 3-4 month waiting list to get in. (Hint Hint) Have fun hanging in there "Hollywood". Me my old retied/disabled self is still restoring my parts for my Hornet's to 100% or better if I can. Oh I drive one or both of of my Hornet's all year round when the roads are dry and salt free. The winter 77 Chebby beater made 150 miles this winter and I live right outside of N.Y. City. The orange one was out today with the grills signal lights tie wired to the body so it was legal and safe. Tough crowd not in my case my 2 Hornet's run 24/7 except for snow and salt. That's what it is all about!!!! Driving them!!!!!!! Magazine & TV coverage is second!!!! If you do it for magazine coverage and TV & car shows it is an ego trip for the owner not for the love of the car. Been driving and owning AMC/Ramblers since 1962. "Doc"
