Re: VIN again



I understand Bob. It takes on a whole different meaning when a dealer does it vs. a private individual though! Most states don't care if you're doing it to your personal car and not trying to make it worth more or pass it off for something it's not. But as you and AJ pointed out, there is some risk involved. I'm sure if an insurance company found out and thought they could use that as a reason not to make a pay-off they would -- that's what insurance companies do...
