RE: Wiring for 4.0 info needed BAD



The shifter mount hump will intrude I have no doubt, anything else will
first be addressed with a BFH, I took a Spirit firewall back 3 inches
with one once for clearance so I'm not too worried, might not be able to
lift my arm for a few days but I'll make it fit.

I've looked at soem pictures on Ebay of AX-15s and they look fairly tall
above the centerline. My T-5 is within a breathing distance of the
floorboards. The shifter mount palte is actually even wiht the inside
floor of the American. I don't know about the Javelin tunnel
differences, but think the AX15 is going to be a real close fit. I'm
curious to hear how it does fit though. It will be good info to have for
future reference. I'm sur eothers will be trying this swap from time to
time.
