I didn't expect too much from it to begin with. The cars they chose were designed for economy, not performance. The intake, carb and exhaust they put on the cars didn't do a thing since they used the same cam. These cars would have run the1/4 mile just as fast with the original equipment. Still was fun to watch. Lets face it, this is TV. TV producers try to appeal to the masses. The masses think (because they're constantly told) that AMCs are worthless junk.
