if Frank is right, I have no reason to believe otherwise, the O/D units used in the AMC's were all the same for the 60's.  They sperimented with diff ones in the 70's. not realy experiments, just they used the Laycock and one other one?
  As you say, I don't believ any are "bolton".
They all need an adapter made up with a seal etc; to use on other applications.
