I think you could be correct, even though I believe the shape of the
 heater box is different on the 68 and 69 from the 70 and 71 Americans and
Javelins. The seals are probably very similar if not identical.
The heater core is pretty close to the same on a lot of AMC models.

Did Detroit Muscle give you a time frame you can expect to see seals/gaskets
in?
