One more reason I don't treat my RM more agressively! I tend to believe if it's old and not worn out the new crap likey won't be as good! Hey, I'm so cheep when I parted out the rotted 68 4 door sedan with 43 K on it I noticed how darned pretty the wheel bearings were in it! Like new and Timken to boot. Yeah, you guessed it, I cleaned em up repacked them and put them in my new rotors. 6 years later, no noise, no play, no problems. I'm not sure new would have been any better. -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: Tom Jennings <tomj@xxxxxxx> > On Tue, 6 Mar 2007, Ronald Brown wrote: > > > About a 1 1/2 years ago I replaced the ball joints on my 87 Eagle.
