Good point. I guess people put a different value on things. I just wish the replacement parts followed the same philosophy. Example, totally rebuilt engines shouldn't go for more than $ 200 bucks. Replacement fenders $ 25 each. Carb $ 5 bucks and so on. If I sell the car I'm offered a couple of hundred. If I try and replace a broken window, it costs me a couple hundred. Sounds like fuzzy math. The first point I made is to say the cumulative price of the car should somewhat reflect the availabilty and replacement cost of the total parts. The second point I made about the rusty Honda was to give relative value. I understand your point though! I'll just be glad to sell it. I have had it for thirty four years and am now embarrassed that I let something so worthless occupy such an important part of my life. Live and learn. Hope someone else can learn from my mistake.
