Hello

Well, here's my story.....I seached for a gremlin to restore for a year or
two, when I came upon a black 74 sitting in a salvage yard. All 4 tires
were still holding air, and the interior was very good for the most part.
The fenders were completely shot, and the doors were pretty rusty as
well...After towing it home, I gave the 232 a routine tuneup with plugs,
wires and a new distributor, and she fired right up! 4 years later, the
grem has a freshly rebuilt 360 mated to a 727 torqeflite, and a mopar 8 3/4
rear end. After seaching several shows, I found a nice set of turbothrust
II rims which sport Kelly Chargers..Someone on the list wanted to know how
big of tires would fit in the wheel wells, I've got P245R60 14 series out
back, and 225's up front, I don't think you could go much bigger without
tubbing the rear. I was lucky enough to find a set of the opening quarter
glass wing windows in the same yard I found my car, that's probably the
rarest option I've got. I know of some yards around wisconsin that have
rear liftgate glass for the 77-78's, but wouldn't know how to ship it....
Good luck all
