Never personally tried this, BUT: I would think a Jeep 258 intake/exhaust 
would work, and the 258 ran until 1991 (!) in Wranglers & the late-80's in 
J-trucks & Wagoneers (1988?). Be aware that the later manifolds had a bunch 
of smog crap in/on them, though. FWIW, my friend's 1979 Cherokee Chief 
(258/TH400/Q-Trac) manifolds appear identical to the 70's AMC car pieces.
