BTW, I've found styrofoam works well to pack hoods & other sheetmetal parts 
for shipping. Also, the rubber "corners" that glass companies use to 
transport plate-glass help avoid crunched corners (thank you, Car Craft, for 
that tip). I get them free (my friend's son installs storefronts for a 
living), but they can't cost much.
