Why not do this?? Hot Rod folks stuffed a 500 Caddy motor in a Chevette! It would definitely kick some Detroit and Japan you know what!

Well, I'm not sure, because I bought the engine used (from a rolled
Chevelle). Here's what I know: 1973 472 Fleetwood block, 1971 Eldorado
heads, 1971 500 crank, offset-ground to a 4.625" stroke, BB Chevy rods.
Intake is the Edelbrock Performer, with an 800cfm Quadrajet. The Caddy runs
mid-12's on the motor & 12-flat on the bottle.

540 stroker! Ive read about them. I bet thats a fun ride even in a
bigger car. What did it cost ya? Im thinkin bout using either the 7
inch or the 6.735 inch Olds Rods since the Caddy Rods are the weakest
link. I thought about calling it "THE GREMILLAC" Im hoping for a fun
ride in it. Hey, At least its loosing the sbc! HG
