Congratulations!!!! I see you're finally off the bozo-tie road, & back on 
the RIGHT path!!!

Seriously, 401's are getting tough to find. However, they're still 
find-able (is that a word?). I pulled one (filthy but running & complete) 
from a 1974 IH Travelall a few months back, for $200. SOME Travelalls have 
fender badges that say "400"--these have AMC 401's! Other places: 1974-78 
Cherokees, Wagoneers, & J-trucks, full-size 70's AMC's.

The weirdest place I've seen a 401 would have to be a late-70's AM General 
federal mail truck. WEIRD!

Looking for a 401. After talking with some people Im really impressed
with the 401 specs. Big valves, steel crank n rods, longer rods.
Seems like its hard to go wrong. Tease me while ya can, cause Im
going AMC. Rod
