Re: [gremlintime] sledding

When I ordered my 70 Gremlin in Apr of 70, one of the 9 options was positraction. I was in Connecticut at the time, and knew I would be going through a winter there. Sure enough, when winter hit, so did the snow. During these times, I was pretty much the only one on the streets. The gremlin just plowed through it all thanks to the posi. So, if you can put posi in it, it will probably be worth being able to get around. If not, probably a couple of hundred pounds will do. Or, just have one of you drive, and the other ride in the back seat.

My girlfriend drove my 76 gremlin in last night's
snowstorm.
She went just 3 miles, but the story she tells would put
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride to shame. The gremlin emerged
unscathed, but I'm wondering now: is weighing the back the
key? And if so, how much weight is ideal?

Best,
Collier
