Hi Ken - rent a saws all cordless - go to a junk yard and cut a new panel
from a donor.
Leave plenty of metal beyond repair area - include spot welded seams . 
Take it to a shop - have it butt welded back in - set it in primer -
paint car later - skip bondo . That is the best way . Have frame
checked for alignment at some time in the future.
