For my '71 AMX, I found a 9" out of a '71 Mach1 dropped right in with NO hacking. Just happened to have the "N" nodular pig, too.  I later dropped that rear into my '69 AMX just as easy. The next rear I build will be a Dana 60, since we are now MOPAR brothers & the Dana can be used as a "stock" part. The stock Dana 60 pieces have been known to last for years of dragstrip duty.
