RE: [BaadAssGremlins] Re: Rebel convertible 'Machine' test drive Thanksgiving Day

On the bouncing speedo needle issue – you should get it checked out right away – I had the same issue with my 69 Javelin and took it to Nevada Speedometer in Reno Nevada – the technician said that when they start doing that they can still be fixed but that they normally do not do that very long and then they stop working all together and after they stop working then can not be repaired but have to be replaced.  That is what he said so do not bash me – just heads up for what it is worth…

not sure if you can log on this facebook group or can read it, but speedo gets goofy 40-60mph. Seat belts all factory American
Safety Equipment, although Noah was digging on floor for Legos, alignment is fine, toe out slightly, and have $400 of new TRW, Moog
(not chinese sh*t) but original American equipment, rebuild equipment in trunk. Just rebuilt whole brake system, this is a power
DRUM car, not power disc, also new heavy duty shocks on front & air on back. Can still do mid 14s for a 3900lb car though....of
course while texting, putting on makeup, answering phone from aMCers, eating BBQ plate on passenger seat while sipping 64 oz Texas
tea..

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving & gave thanks for those around them & what is important to them. It was sunny, cool, about 65
degrees here in Houston and drove out to relative's home with Noah for Thanksgiving dinner; Paige took the 82 Concord woodie low
miler wagon, and Jacob, while me & Noah took the convertible Rebel Machine. About 60-70 miles round trip. Since I had the Nikon with
me for photos, I put it on film and took a few "drive tests" of this car, which is now the longest have ever owned a AMC, this one
from 1986; previous record was The Red Death from 1980-1998. So with camera in hand (hey, it's a small powerful one, not Mod Squad
70s cell phone type) here are the three shorts I posted on you tube. See ya'll..
