On the bouncing speedo needle issue – you should get it checked out right away – I had the same issue with my 69 Javelin and took it to Nevada Speedometer in Reno Nevada – the technician said that when they start doing that they can still be fixed but that they normally do not do that very long and then they stop working all together and after they stop working then can not be repaired but have to be replaced.
