So, is it crass commercialism only for multiple items ( bumper stickers), or for a single item as well? <Grin> I've been holding my red & black MJ jacket, I think that was the Thriller video it was in?, I've had that since the '70's, and intended to sell it once some good reason ( and money-making opportunity ) came along. While I liked his music, I have no real personal liking of him after the "boys sleepover" incident played out some years ago. And if someone wants something iconic and memorable from his era, then this coat would qualify, and needing money, I have NO problem selling to those looking for something. I only have ONE item, not hundreds, so I won't feel bad selling it to people looking for something to give them comfort ( and me some extra bucks in these tight times, I just spent over $800 on one of
my cats for dental surgery, and she also has a skin tumor that needs removing...yikes ).
While I'd like to sell some AMC parts for big bucks, that's an oxi-moron ( big-buck AMC parts, unless you have a NOS '70 AMX grill, which is as rare as a spend-thrift AMCer ), so I'll sell something I don't care about much ( MJ stuff ), and keep my Gremlin parts. Anyone who has a problem with that, too bad. I think I"ll start it out at $50 and see where it goes from there....I doubt it'll pay my vet or Gremlin restoration bills, but at least I'll clean out my closet a bit.
