Agreed. Also note that the 'leathergrip' ones AMC used from 77 to about 83 command more if in good shape with no cracks. But the earlier ones, that is about right, $50-$75 although some of mine have sold for well over $100 (3 complete ones with ring, horn button and 'early' American Motors words in button sold for $200-$250).....but depends on COLOR. Like the earlier AMX, Ambassador, Javelin & Rebel ones from 68-69, the rarer the color the higher the price regardless of condition. Some colors used only one year are obsolete, while some colors like black, more common, but also some of these molded were unique to only 1-2 models. Not to be confusing, but many things have to be taken into consideration with some of these hard to find parts.

I need help on a realistic price for the 3 spoke steering wheel with adapter and horn parts. The one on my yellow car was a present from a friend. The one on the orange car I paid 35$ for from a friend down south 6 years ago who happened to spot a 73 Hornet "X" hatchback in a junkyard while looking for parts for her Olds. I got 2 reply's from the AMX files. One said make offer and the other one said 150$ plus 12$ shipping in the lower 48. I am on a really tight budget and need to get the best bang for the buck here. Any help is appreciated. I am going to wait till I have  more offers of one before buying one.
