I can understand Doc how word would not spread about someone's tax
problems, especially if jail time served, something one usually don't want
spread about. Have not heard about the fight outside a bar, but maybe you can
press her a little more on it, as usually assault, or even if Steve stepped in
front of cab as I heard, either, usually have some mention around the date of
that in local or area newspaper. Even here in 10,000 square miles of Houston,
assualts usually, but not always get covered in some form of press. That is
unless more important stories that day like what Obama kids wearing to school,
or octomom dropping another 8 kids, or Britney in rehab, those are important
stories the newscasters like. So closing schools, area companies laying off
thousands, 8 tons of cocaine seized in truck on 59, another body found from
hurricane Ike (5 months ago TOMORROW and we still recovering) those important
stories get pushed to back near weather.
A suggestion Doc since you appear to be closest to the collection would be
to get good digital camera and go take many photos if the place will allow you
in there to photograph the cars....the main reason is many of them will never be
seen again......and one will never see this collection together again, so you
have chance at AMC history in 2009.
