Since you been going to shows with your Gremlin longer than me don't you think they have gotten a lot more respect as time passes. When I first started showing mine I lot of people actually laughed at it. Others seemed to looked at it as to say what is it doing here and at some shows while I was never ask to leave I didn't feel welcome. When I entered one they did ask where my show car was. Now I see big smiles no out right laughs. People tell me what a classic car I have and that they like seeing different cars not just all the Mustangs, 57 Chevy's and the Chevelles. I actually have people asking me to bring my Gremlin to their show. In the show car circuit I bet a half dozen people know my name but every one knows the Gremlin and your right it doesn't matter if they loved them or hated them everyone over 40 either owned one or their best friend did. I
also know Florida had to be full of them in the 70's. I have heard we stuffed six kids into one and drove to Florida in one a thousand times.
