Hey folks,
I'm in the process of rebuilding my 72 Gremlin. I've been cleaning up the rubber side window gaskets that had a bit of overspray for the previous paint job. I noticed both had some kind clay like calking material inside the glass groove and around the outter lip. A lot of it just flaked out in small chunks. When it got wet for a period of time, it turned greyish and could be sraped out. Is that stuff normal?
Thougths on the best process for reinstallation that won't mess up the rubber?
Thanks.
