Changing out the interior can be done without too much trouble IF you have

Luck finding the parts/Lots of cash for same/Loads of time/and Patience.

Check the attached pics of my car with its Rustolium Restoration -  Even the

steering wheel is painted (was clear).   They make paints for plastic and vinyl that

work good.  Yes, they will need touching up occasionally since the paint isnt

as tough as original, but with a good cleaning and careful masking and/or removal before paint, the result is very nice.
