I know they are close in my Spirit.  I can;'t fit the big aluminum valve covers without re-routing the brake lines.

 

What's up with those headers you never got back to me on them.

Typically they are about 1/4 " away  Mine are touching.

the heads are just about smack dab on my firewall on my gremlin and its a factory V8. a V8 in a Gremlin and the cars related to it are a real P.I.T.A
