Well, with everyone's help, we got the Pacer back together and fired it up.
Unfortunately, there is a vacuum leak around the base of the carb and another at
the rear of the intake manifold. We'll let it cool for the night and try to
torque the bolts tomorrow. Hope that works. As Popeye would say, "Me
thinks the manifold is warped." We doubled up on the gaskets as
per instructions, but we'll see! Thanks again to all.
