Great point Bob and a old school trick. I have done that with Ram Air and Cowl Induction vacuum actuators since 1970s! However, a good point and there are all sorts of doohickeys one can use inside the vacuum lines to plug them but leave them to still appear stock. Matches come to mind, however I have also used silicone and calk. Both plug the lines cleanly....just be sure to let it dry properly inside the line before driving!
