Charles... you need to calm down and READ WHAT DOC IS SAYING! I agree with what he has to say. Its not that he is down grading the younger generation like yourself, but its the general public. If some old fart comes into like a Autozone or a Shucks and tries to find an old part for a car that hasnt been made in 30 some years, they dont have a book to look into. If its not in the computer they dont know fuckin' shit and they dont care! PERIOD! THEY DONT CARE! Customer satisfaction is what Doc is trying to say. YOU NEED TO GET A GRIP ON THINGS AND READ WHAT IS ACCUALLY BEING SAID! And not go off half cocked. I have had some bad relations with those part chain stores. I called an Autozone for some weather stripping for my little pickup. They said that they could get it. After I went and tore off one side, I went down and "tried" to order it. The DUMASS looked on the computer and it wasnt listed! I said I had just called here 45 minutes ago and asked if it could be had and someone here said that it could be had. Now they told me that it wasnt listed! This is what Doc is trying to say here. The smaller places are more customer orientated and they want the buisness. That is why they have a book and look for cross references. Personally I am with Doc on this one. Its not that I am sticking up for Doc and down grading the younger generation. It just that I can COMPREHEND WHAT IS BEING SAID. By the way you ever get that carb to work for ya?? Bill Renshaw Lewiston Idaho AKA Brother B.
