[BaadAssGremlins] Re Mexican 282-6



Bill these are same bored out 232/258 family of engines. They were used by 
VAM which is Vehiculos Automotores Mexicanos which was AMC's Mexico 
division, sort of like AMI was AMC's Australian division. I have some great 
photos on my site (and mroe to load) of stuff, weird stuff like the four 
door Lerma, which is a four door Spirit. Arcticboy has a nice VAM page also:

note Hurst shifter & Hornet front clip;
1975 AMX, which will freak out some who think the AMX name was discontinued 
in 1974, which it was not, VAM used it for 75, 76, then AMC resurrected it 
in 1977:
