[BaadAssGremlins] Re: 77 AMX leaf springs wanted

Thanks guys. Doc, yeah I tightened everyting down real good. I
even untightened and retightened everthing twice, to see if the bolt
would go into the perch more, but it didn't.

Davis, instead of drilling the hole in the perch, do you think I
could fashion a spacer plate to fill the gap? I'm a little nervous
about altering the perch only because if I mess it up, then I have
an even bigger problem. I figure that I could cut a 2-3" section
from the old spring, then drill it so that it fits over the center
bolt. At least 2/3 of the bolt (about 1/4") fits into the perch
hole currently, so I thought fashioning this spacer would be ok (it
would be kind of like a very thin lowering block).

Thanks again,
Dan
