HEY SCOTT. Are you going to build up a V8..or is it a mosyly stock 
V8??? If you want a "bolt-in" HD unit...Find a 57-59 FORD passenger 
car..NOT wagon/Ranchero.The factory 9" will bolt right in..with only 
SLIGHT slotting of spring pads..or just pushing on the springs  
slightly with your foot!!..Then use a narrow pickup truck yoke on the 
gearset..WAAAALAAAA..even my stock 904 driveshaft bolted right up!!
