A friend of mine had a AMC powered 47 dodge pick-up lowered with a Pacer front suspension, 360, auto with a 20 Rear.

Yo, We have a guy in our club 'North Coast AMC' with a 401 in his '60 ish (can't remember what year, only seen it once) Chebbie pick-up. Talk about turnin' heads. 'The Mix'
