[BaadAssGremlins] Attaching Fiberglass Hoods To Stock Metal Hood Frames

Isn't the Javelin AMX cowl hood fiberglass on a stock metal hood frame?
I believe it was glued on. There are lots of modern cars with plastic
panels that are glued on. I don't see why with one of the modern
adhesives made today you could not glue one of Davis's glass hoods to a
stock Gremlin metal frame. The only concern I would have is with the air
the scoup would pick up at highway speeds and possibly cause the glue to
fail. A simple cure is to have 2 hood pins in the front of the hood for
added safety. Also most states have a limit on the height the scope can
be.
