RE: [BaadAssGremlins] Was Rear seat & hanta virus / Now Snow Ball Club

Thats why we call them "projects". A project is never really done and if and when you do complete a project....there is always somthing that needs to be either redone to our personal taste, or somthing that we over looked wears out. Hobby? NAH! No such thing. These are cars, not a model. We do drive them from time to time and stuff wears out. A model, when its completed, just sits on a shelf and collects dust. Ya, I admit, some people will complete a car and put it in a garage somewhere, but why??? You spend thousands of dollars, thousands of hours, for it to just sit and collect dust like a model?  Not me, I like for those less fortunate ones that this is what can be done, with some time, efforts and some of money. Show it off. It may not be show quality, but I believe its more pride than anything else. Bill Lewiston Id.

Join the snow ball club Paul. My clean 500$ orange Hornet that I planned
on spending a max of 5,000$ has turned into a 2 1/2 year 15,000$ project
car that is not done yet. It will probably be done by next fall. But as
with most projects they really aren't ever done. :-)~

>Well cheese and rice Eddie thats just great.. I did wear latex gloves to remove the nest, but I don't think they've been in there for a long time. Found no dead meeces either. thanks for the heads up though as we were just talkin about how to clean and disenfect the car. I couldn't see installin new interior without removing everything first. This interior thing has snowballed since I pulled the front seat, but most projects seem to do that as I hate to do things halfassed. So, now I'm shootin for that new car smell when I'm done.don't ya love it Paul

There was a outbreak in New Mexico years ago that killed a number of people. So my suggestion if mice been using the old AMC as a Skid-O-Can is to go to Dollar Store and pick up some rubber gloves, and maybe a cheap paint facemask, both also available at Home Depot. But worth it when dealing with stuff like that which can indeed kill you. Here is something about hanta virus:
