[BaadAssGremlins] Was Rear seat & hanta virus / Now Snow Ball Club

Join the snow ball club Paul. My clean 500$ orange Hornet that I planned
on spending a max of 5,000$ has turned into a 2 1/2 year 15,000$ project
car that is not done yet. It will probably be done by next fall. But as
with most projects they really aren't ever done. :-)~

--- Begin Message --- Well cheese and rice Eddie thats just great.. I did wear latex gloves to remove the nest, but I don't think they've been in there for a long time. Found no dead meeces either. thanks for the heads up though as we were just talkin about how to clean and disenfect the car. I couldn't see installin new interior without removing everything first. This interior thing has snowballed since I pulled the front seat, but most projects seem to do that as I hate to do things halfassed. So, now I'm shootin for that new car smell when I'm done.don't ya love it  Paul

Good call Doc. Yup, whoever it is fooling with mice shit be careful. There was a outbreak in New Mexico years ago that killed a number of people. So my suggestion if mice been using the old AMC as a Skid-O-Can is to go to Dollar Store and pick up some rubber gloves, and maybe a cheap paint facemask, both also available at Home Depot. But worth it when dealing with stuff like that which can indeed kill you. Here is something about hanta virus:

UREKA. You were right Jim  the seat came out the way you said.  . I hate to say this in case Charles is listening but, I forgot I had bought a 1974 AMC service manual.  DOH.  Any how the meeces were living on the drivers side in a very largh house and the potty was on the passenger side. I think there be no more stankin now. Thanks guys  Paul

Paul...

You need to take the rear seat back off first.....attached on the lower
corners under the carpet.....then you will see the screws that
hold the bottom cushion...took me awhile to figure it out....
