Gary I did use GM bushing and pins in my yellow Hornet only because the holes in the hinge bushing's were gone and the hole's in the hinge itself were worn oblong. It takes some skill to drill and file the holes to make the GM hinge pin and bushing's to fit properly. This is not somthing that will be easy for the amateur/hobbyist to do. But they are far better than the AMC ones. I cheated on the orange car since the hinges were in good shape I used stock AMC pins and bushing's I got from Kennedy American.
