About the window gasket for the Gremlin. I was told
that the reproduction seals leak and the one I
purchased, even though new old stock, was made in 1995
before they began retiring the parts for the Gremlin
(I'm told). The gasket I received smells new and is
nice and squeaky like new rubber should be. Doesn't
seem to be deteriorated at all. As far as glue...were
they glued in?

Try Blaser's Auto. I got a brand new old stock rear
window gasket from them. It cost a little bit
more...but it is original and a perfect fit (no leaks
like the reproduction gaskets). it is best to call
them with questions because their website is not very
informative. This guy used to be an AMC dealer and has
a lot of original parts.
