I know. I bought one the first week of April, 1970. Mine was $2143 if I remember right. White, red stripe, deluxe interior (bench seat, kind of a rolled and pleated style) heater, white walls, wheel covers, roof rack, and destination charge. 199cid with very balky three-speed column shift. Three years later when I sold it I only got about $800.
