Scott, To see how wrong those glue traps are, you need merely put yourself in their..err...skin. Imagine being on the other side of the situation before you pronounce it 'okay'. I carry spiders outside. I trap wasps in a paper cup and release them outside. I have put cinammon powder at the base of all my exterior doors when an army of ants decided to invade. It drove them off without harm. I did, however, smash a bee when it stung me...not because it hurt me, but because it was going to die anyway- it shortened the event for both of us. When I was stung by a hornet (go figure) on my way to my wedding, I slipped a finger nail under his body and flicked him off. He went his way, I went mine. As for snakes, if they ain't poisonous, I pick 'em up. If they are poisonous, I trap and release. It just easier to kill. It's an effort to let them go their own way. Not everything that bothers us needs to be destroyed. It's just about co-existing. If I were to kill all that really annoyed me, the morgue would be stuffed. No mouse ever bothered me more than the average nitwit human. If I can 'work around' the people I deal with daily without killing them, I can deal with a mere snake. If one got in your house? Around here there is a lot of asian beetles and box elder bugs. Those glue traps work on them too. SCOTT --- In... ------------------------ Yahoo!
