Re: [BaadAssGremlins] trans fluid in the radiator??

Joe, real simple here, go buy a good small exterior bolt on trans cooler
that will fit in front, or behind, your radiator, takes about 30 minutes to
put on, and makes a big difference in cooling also. I have these on most of
my cars here in Houston and the sole reason why is that HEAT destroys
transmissions. And we have plenty of heat, fixin to set a record if we don't
get any rain this month, so far .008 rain for month of June, which is the
driest in recorded history going back to mid 1800's. I'm sure Bart could
send us some rain, every day the past month in FL it seems to have been
raining.

But a good, cheap, trans cooler about $20-$30 will not only probably solve
your trans problem, but also keep the trans nice and cool for years to come.
Also, since you have/had trans fluid in radiator, chances are you probably
have...water...in trans. You might consider very QUICKLY changing out your
trans fluid to new fluid!!
