Ya I plan on spending lots of time sanding and preping and I am not totally in the dark. My wifes friends husband is a pro and is gonna hold my hand sorta. So I am not really leaving it to chance. The paint job I wanted to do was gonna cost me more then 500 just for the paint! so I decided to just keep the factory stock paint. maby the drag car will get the fancy stuff next year or so.

Hi Davis,
It does look good in the pictures. You would never know it needed a paint job. I remember when I was a kid my dad painted just about every one of my brothers friends cars. They would prepare them and buy the paint. Some would look like custom paint jobs while others would lets say not so good. He always said it was in the preperation and the paint. I guess he was right I remember some guys would spend days getting them ready while others would wipe them off with paint thinner and say shoot it. If you take your time I bet it comes out great. Knowing me I would give Earl Schribe? a good name.
