Eddie
My scanner doesn't work. The Hornet was purchased new from....
Cropper Motors 310 17th Street Cheyene, Wyoming 82001
Dealer Number #24-2583 Zone Order #24-439427
The option is listed on the window sticker as....
A1/CG Snow White & Cane Grain $94.50
If you'd like a copy, I could xerox one, and mail it to you. When I called
Blaser last spring and he said he'd sold his last one the previous year, I
never asked him how much it sold for though I wish I had.
I don't see a delivery date, but believe it may have been late in the model
year. It's a '73, but the Hornet script is off the hood and on the fender.
The filler neck is hidden behind the rear plate where it was moved for '74.
I read where AMC, along with other manufacturers, got exemptions to extend
the model year into new production to get more cars in under the yearly
emmissions standards. I know Chevy did this for a least one year in the
early 80's for S-10's.
